Posts: 2 | Character Name: Kabashi Alystrous Leingard Gender: Male Race:Geraldyn Age: 13 Eye Color:Dark blue Hair Color: Pale blue Height/Weight: 4ft 7in / 101 lbs Occupation/Class: Freelancer Appearance: Standing at only about five feet tall Kabashi does not seem that harmful. With white fur covering his body he often comes of as cute and harmless. The light blue fur markings that are on his arm, body, ears, and legs are almost like that of a tiger or cat. Kabashi stands like a humanoid but his appearance has an animal like quality to it. Kabashi has very large ears. Almost a foot long in fact they allow him to be aware of his surroundings at all times. He also has a tail like a lion with a ball of fur at the end which is also blue ( and the same color as his hair. Kabashi's only article of clothing would be gray pants. they are a some what of a tighter fit near this waist but the become loose near his feet being that the type of clothing wasnt made for his size or species even. They are gray but with a slight blue tone to them, and the end of the pants nearing his feet have been cut to make them smaller Personality: Kabashi is a shy but playful boy who deeply cares for that which is around him and often puts others first his curiosity will often get the better of him and he feels the need to do things on his own so as not to put anyone in danger Kabashi may come of as a fun and cute person to a lot of people. He likes to show his happiness to others but is always on guard. He loves to play around and will constantly joke around. Kabashi does not fight to kill he will almost always fight to protect. and with that quality comes he serious side. he can almost completely change his personality. one would think he was two different people. Kabashi often speaks in a smart straight forward manner since he spent most his childhood fighting Skills: Cosmic magic: Cosmic magic is a Rare type of magic that can be very powerful if used correctly, but can also be harmful to those who use it. it allows one to attack with raw magical energy which is unstable having no particular element. It can be used as both a weapon and a defensive magic, it can use both because the magic itself uses raw energy as mentioned earlier. spells include stronger attacks like -Cosmic Flare- which is a burst of energy the size of which determined by the amount of magic used by the caster. usually used for long range attacks it requires a lot of concentration. other wise the spell will go off to soon or even backfire the blast can range anywhere between a few feet to about fifteen feet. then there are simpler spells like -Fusion cutter- which is a simple energy blade the blade is simply energy collected at ones hand. is is a simple and quick spell but only lasts a short while to avoid damaging the casters hand. there are a variety of uses for the spell like deflecting and oncoming attack or clearing a path through a forest for defensive use the magic could be used to simply divert attacks or sent back at the caster. For this the caster only need to create a wall o energy having no particular element the caster can give it one depending on the situation (water against fire etc) While normally used for those two purposes it can be used to heal others because healing with this type of magic is done by giving ones own energy to another. often inexperienced cosmic mages will pass out after doing this The magic is dangerous in the fact it has very few limits. magic is drawn into existence using once own body to collect it because Cosmic magic uses raw energy which is harmful to the body. This causes the body to work even harder to operate itself because it is also trying to keep itself from being harmed by the intake of raw energy. the more energy one draws into his or herself the more the body works Cosmic magic is also hard to control at long ranges. it becomes unstable being that it was raw energy in the first place. the farther away the spell is directed the more the caster needs to concentrate. if over used or misused the caster could become insane, paranoid, or even lose bodily functions, And through all that the caster will eventually die improved reflexes: Kabashi is not that strong phsyicaly. he is very fast however and will use he position to his advantage. he large ears let him hear things from a long distance giving him a larger amount of time to react to attacks. Equipment: Kabashi only wears long grey pants that are made of a light yet very flexible fabric so as to not interfere with any movement. there are no notable patterns on the clothing but the pockets are slightly darker and the the ends have been cut to fit Kabashi. Cosmic edge: The cosmic edge is a fabled sword said to be created by the first cosmic mage. The creator of the sword is still unknown. the reason supporting the fact it could have been a cosmic mage is the fact only a cosmic mage can wield the sword And only full blooded mages can harness its inner potential. The sword unique ability lets it store the energy collected by cosmic magic an thus diverts harm away from the mage to prevent over use this ability could only harnessed by full blooded mages with a just cause. The blade of the sword itself is 2ft 7 in long. the hilt measuring 7 in. History: While Kabashi was still young about eight years old he was attacked he did manage to escape but after the attack people started to disappear only to later be found dead. After learning that they were after his magic Kabashi left with his brother to avoid capture. Along the way they would be attacked multiple times. After being left alone for a while Kabashi was attacked. The man that atacked him ended up dying, but what he said to Kabashi would take him on long journey lasting years. Along the journey Kabashi Trained himself and he became stronger. He gained many allies. he also met enemies. In one encounter the intentions of the people who tried to capture Kabashi were made clear. they were going to release ancient monsters and demons to attack the geraldyn capital. They were not able to stop the demons release but Kabashi and his allies defeated them. not being able to kill these demons Kabashi imprisoned them in his own body until a few years later when he would seal them away again. After all this his journey was far from over. the group behind the demons release was still at large. Kabashi went a way for a year to live in sollitude. within that year he strengthened himself. it was pretty uneventful but there was one event that stood out. Kabashi had broken down one day in his wishes to become stronger he was visited by a spirit this spirit had granted Kabashi the cosmic edge. the reason that her was supposedly worthy of such a thing would be the fact everything he was doing was because he cared for his friends and because he did them out of love. this is when Kabashi trained himself to use the sword. this was also when he found out his cosmic magic could kill him. Upon his return Kabashi found many thing had gone wrong. his brother and the girl he loved had been captured. using his new abilities and confidence he would save them. Years went by until they finally stopped the group. then things finally settled down. a year after these event Kabashi was summoned by the queen. he was not the only one summoned twenty others had shown up. it was not until he got to the castle that he found out why he had been chosen. The queen was picking the future ruler of the geralydn. Kabashi stood there thinking it was some sick joke. that was however until the queen picked him. yes within twenty years time. he would be the next king. Kabashi asked that this fact would be hidden from the general public after all he was still a kid. ***Information on the Geraldyn Species*** THE GERALDYN With a life span of 450 years they live relatively long than most bipedal organisms.this also makes them eternally young at heart throughout their lifespan they are always playful like kid, but are smart and have a serious side. Geraldyn are born in a sleep like coma for 4 months so shortly after birth energy surrounds them and makes a crystalline egg. This is also where geraldyn develop key features such as their fur pattern. They can usually walk around the age of 2, and can speak fluently at the age of 5. It usually takes Geraldyn only a full year to learn a language. All Geraldyn speak the same language. Eating habits: Geraldyn are usually omnivores that only need to eat twice a day ( 32 hours on learcuse) they can however survive up to two weeks without food, and one week without water if their body has been trained to do so. Body structure, Appearance, And movement: The structure of a Geraldyns body is pretty much the same as a humans set aside the fact their skulls are more animal like as well as the nose. they are highly active and their bodies mostly consist of muscle as they use their fur to keep warm and because they're planet is so much larger it has more gravity. they have a small height range when fully grown going from four to five feet five inches. Their fur has a variety of colors, and tails the same some have a spiked tip some bushy. They have unusually long ears that can be as long as two feet, and claws as long as two inches which can grow when fighting but need to be clipped after wards. Each Geraldyn also has a unique fur pattern. While casually walking a Geraldyn will be on two legs. In Most cases when running they will do so on all fours. Throughout their live Geraldyn look almost eternally young and take pride in that fact. Geraldyn Culture & Societies: Geraldyn are very religious but they do not devote their live to the gods, they are not even taught about the gods. it is perhaps this fact that leads to the Geraldyn gods living withing the Geraldyn societies. They also have a strong sense to protect their environment.They are taught to give back what they take this holds true even in death when they are burned and their ashes scattered throughout the forest. Geraldyn live in densely populated cities with the industrial district completely separated from the housing district excluding a few small businesses dealing with clothing, food and other essential resources. The typical Geraldyn Household i has about two floors. they are normaly spacious seeing as Geraldyn normally have large families ,and they do not pay for their homes what so ever. Its all provided by the Geraldyn Goverment. Law: Geraldyn Laws are much like that on earth. theft is punishable by a variety of consequences, and murder by death. In fact murder is not tolerated in the case of an innocent person being murder, the offender will be put to death and his body given to the lost soul of the one he or she had killed so the person can live life again. The one big Difference is that most technology is Banned. aside from medical use it is prohibited outside major cities. The reason being so is the fact the have little need for technology but visitors from other planets might find it essential. thus the cities that theses interplanetary visitors arrive in are allowed the use of technology. The only type of Technology allowed is Magitech Which is powered by its user not resources taken from the environment. |

Posts: 8 | It is a good start but there needs to be a great deal of clarification. 1. Since your using a new race, that is not generic to the world of Antaros, please include history/descriptive insight into the race itself. What the culture is like etc. 2. Elaborate more about your character's appearance. Currently you have only described his physical features, such as hair, tail, etc. but you haven't described anything regarding what clothing he is wearing or how it fits/falls on him. 3. Regarding equipment, you need to elaborate on the pants, explaining what material they are made of, and just a short insert about any specifically key details that will be useful to other users, such as there being any distinctive embroidery or something along those lines. Also regarding the weapon, you gave it limitations saying that only a full-blooded mage can harness the power, but what kind of power are we talking about? Please elaborate about what exactly this power is. 4. Finally, your skills, you need to be precise regarding your skills. Describing your characters manipulation of cosmic magic is very vague, by saying it can be both very power and also very detrimental to the user. You need to clarify how, what are the limits, and specifically what can he do with this magic. Cosmic magic is the reigning class, but not a specific skill, the cosmic blade, is an example of a skill and you need to elaborate more on the constraints of your two skills as you currently have no mention of the limitations.
